We are looking for a skilled HR Officer who is passionate about people, efficient, committed, approachable and has a good knowledge of various HR functions.

In this role you will work on a job-share basis with our established HR Officer to provide a proficient, collaborative, and seamless transactional HR function. You will be involved in all HR transactions from recruitment and throughout the employee journey. You will provide advice and guidance to managers to ensure consistent and fair people management decisions, support complex HR case work, be responsible for accurate data processing and have development opportunities which include deputising for our Business Manager and supporting other projects. As Team Leader you will play an instrumental part in developing and delivering innovative person-centred services. Working on and off rota, reporting to the Service Manager and Practice Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring the service consistently meets internal and external quality standards. In addition, you will be responsible for supervising Support Workers so familiarity with supervising a team is essential. You will collate and quality audit daily and weekly records into our online support planning and ensure compliance. You will ensure all staff are aware of support outcomes and are consistently working with the people we support to achieve them.
A current working knowledge of CQC regulations would be advantageous.
You will work with the Practice Leader to lead a team providing a combination of delivering 1:1 support and core background support within a shared hub for 6/7 individuals living in their own flats with access to a support hub.

You will be patient and good humoured. You will have experience supporting and providing services for individuals with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, behaviours that may present as challenging and be able to work in a way that is truly person-centred - aiming to make a real difference to the individual’s lives by promoting independence and enhancing their perception of quality of life. It is important that you understand that this looks different for each individual. You will influence support delivery and role model positive service culture.

You will lead support directly for 2 individuals living within the scheme.
THOM has a diagnosis of Profound Multiple Learning Disability and requires full support around her college attendance. Being comfortable with personal care, cuddles on the floor and cartoons is a must.

JONK has epilepsy and can display signs of anxiety at times of feeling overwhelmed. Kerry loves to look around charity shops, knit and get out for nice lunches but really enjoys the comforts of home.

For the right candidate this role may also include the opportunity to work with the other 5 individuals who also live in the service on either 1:1 support or core background support from our onsite support Hub.

For occupational requirement reasons we are looking to appoint a female only for this post (exemption under the equality act 2010 Part 1 Schedule 9).
